Learn to design code that survives change requests. Each topic starts with a shared concept video: a real change request that hurts, the painful "before" code, the pattern as a class diagram and a step-by-step refactoring, and when the pattern is NOT worth it. Then continue in Python or Java: the same refactoring in real code, the idiomatic version of your language (often just a function in Python), where the standard library already uses it, and the traps. Capstone: refactor the checkout of a small online shop.
